Azul Caballo Amigo (blue friendly horse... we call him Blue) proudly continues the hallowed tradition of Joe Hancock. Blue is a true blueroan Quarter Horse stallion that is one of the highest percentage roan producers available today. He is our herd sire and my best friend.

Our goal, our specialty, and our passion is producing the finest foundation bred Quarter Horses in the world. Conformation, disposition and trainability are our first priority. In addition, providing a solid pedigree with a rare and beautiful color provides you, our customer, one of the most sought after horses in today's market.

It has taken years for us to build our program to the degree at which it stands and we never stop trying to make it even better. Producing Ranch, Rope, Family and Performance horses, all with roan color makes our horses suitable for almost any endeavor. Some of our foals have even become "therapy horses" for clients that just needed something solid to connect to at a tough point in their life. To produce these kind of horses takes some pretty special mares.

Our broodmare band consists of high percentage blue roans, bay roans and a red roan here and there. If you look at the lines of our mares, such greats as Blue Valentine, Joe Hancock, Hancocks Blue Boy, Apache Joe Hancock, Blue's Beard, Happy Hancock, Pig Creek Roan, Roan Ambrose, Gooseberry, Red Man, Rowdy Blue Man and Buck Hancock are on our mares papers.

We also have a niche in the market of providing outstanding roan horses with the likes of Mr San Peppy, Doc Bar, Doc Clabber, Doc Tari, Drifts Chip, Zan Parr Bar, Doc O'lena, King Fritz, Freckles Playboy, and Doc's Lynx all on the foals papers! And these horses are performers. They have a lot of cow and are just awesome athletes!
